South Shore Kayak Co. is A small rental and touring outfit located on the Marblehead Peninsula, servicing  Lakeside/Marblehead, Catawba Island, and Port Clinton. What we offer is the opportunity for you to explore the bays and shores of Western Lake Erie atop a safe and easy to handle sit-on-top kayak, these kayaks are designed to shed water and can be re-entered from deep water with little effort.

            There are many ways for you to enjoy a day out on a kayak. We can launch you from the north side of Sandusky Bay and you can explore Johnson’s Is. or paddle straight for the Sandbar and regain your energy by resting on the sandy beaches or cool down in the shallow waters. You can also enjoy your day at East Harbor state park with an easy paddle through the harbors and marinas surrounding the park.
